Development of the Flourishing Classroom System Observation Framework and Rubric: a Delphi Study

Abstract This paper describes the development of Flourishing Classroom System Observation Framework and Rubric , which provides a framework practical approach to defining describing multiple interconnected observable characteristics classroom system that individually together can be targeted cultivate collective flourishing within schools. Beginning with working theoretical model based on existing literature, three-round Delphi study was used develop related rubric. In round 1, 35 experts answered open-ended questions regarding behaviours wellbeing in classroom. Analysis responses resulted five dimensions, each three sub-dimensions. 2, 23 sorted categorised statements potentially described 15 Analyses created definitions sub-dimension how they manifest for teachers, students, class, along description learning environment dimension. 3, 18 reviewed descriptions, resulting final 15-dimension rubric 45 descriptive statements.
